Christmas in Greerton with The Topp Twins 

National treasures Twin Sisters Jools & Lynda Topp aka the Topp Twins, are bringing their distinctive brand of original music and character comedy to Greerton Village for an evening of song and laughter. If you want to see why these two have been local favourites for over thirty years, then you’ll want to get in quick and book. For entertainment that’s perfect for the whole family, this one isn’t to be missed. 

Laughs On the Lawn 

Laughs on the lawn live is a free event being held at local favourite, Astrolabe Brew Bar. On the bill, this year are some local famous comedians, known for their work on Seven Days: Cori Gonzales Macuer, Rhys Mathewson and The Fan Brigade. With Live music with Karz Gordox, this is one Christmas function you don’t want to pass up on. 

NYE with Salmonella Dub Soundsystem  

The Mighty Salmonella Dub Soundsystem return to the BOP to roll your feet across the dance floor at Papamoa Beach Tavern for New Years 2018. They’ve got their good friends Soulware and Laughton Kora in the line-up too. Early bird tickets are selling out fast, so if you are planning to spend New Years in the bay, then this is the party to be at. The night will kick off nice at early at 7 pm with warm-up DJ’s. 

Eves Surfbreaker Triathlon 

Need to work off all that Christmas food? Then we have the event for you. The Eves Surbreaker Triathlon breaks from the tradition & has the swim leg at the Mount Main beach in the surf. This iconic event has been held now for over 30 years & some great names of NZ Triathlon have won here. Event distances include a long and short as well as the six-legged elite triathlon for those feeling adventurous. This event is a very social occasion during the holiday season so grab a mate & do it as a Team or enter as an Individual & have some holiday fun.
